Rock Investment Holdings administrators could announce the sale of the former Burberry headquarters on the Haymarket, in central London, by the end of this week.
The Times says terms have been agreed with one buyer who is thought to have offered about £30m.
This is substantially higher than the £20m PricewaterhouseCoopers had originally thought the property was worth last October.
