The former head of City offices at Colliers International, Mark McAlister, is to join Carter Jonas as a partner in London.
McAlister’s role will be to build up Carter Jonas’s London client base for the commercial team.
McAlister joined Colliers in 2008 from Heron International where he briefly headed the company’s leasing strategy for the Heron Tower.
Prior to joining Gerald Ronson’s company he spent 26 years at CBRE.
He said: “I am delighted to be back in a UK partnership of chartered surveyors. Carter Jonas’s London commercial team has been growing over recent years and has a good track record on transactional and advisory work.”
Scott Harkness, head of commercial, Carter Jonas, added: “We have a very clear growth strategy in place, part of which is the continued recruitment of key people such as Mark into our firm for the benefit of our clients.”
He will start the role on 5 January 2015.
