Ex-Montagu Evans partners launch Scottish consultancy

Two former Montagu Evans partners have launched a new Glasgow-based consultancy.

Hill Dryburgh will focus on providing development land agency advice across the residential, retail and renewable sectors.

The consultancy was set up by John Hill and Neil Dryburgh.

Hill has over 30 years’ experience in the development and disposal of residential and commercial land and property across the UK.

At Montagu Evans, where he spent the last six years, he has specialised in project managing planning, highways and technical consultancy, brownfield sites, and joint venture agreements.

His previous roles include heading up the Scottish planning and development team at Lambert Smith Hampton and as a development manager at British Rail Property.

Dryburgh was with Montagu Evans for 31 years, providing strategic development and agency advice on large residential and mixed-use developments, acting for clients including NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.

He was also active in retail lease advisory/viability modelling and public sector consultancy, having worked across Landsec, Hines, Ellandi, and Ares’ shopping centres and retail parks portfolios.
