Local developer Stewart Milne Group is buying the former Royal Mail headquarters site in Crown Street, Aberdeen .
The deal, the terms of which are confidential, involves two buildings. A 5,051 sq m (54,380 sq ft) listed block will be converted into homes while the 3,576 sq m (38,500 sq ft)1960s property will be demolished. The sale is conditional on planning consent.
Royal Mail is moving to the former Northern Co-operative Society building at Wellington Circle in Altens as part of a £10m reorganisation in the city.
