Exclusive Haslemere Estates wins consent for 14 acre business park in Worcester

Haslemere Estates has won detailed consent for a warehouse and office development on a 5.6 ha (14 acre) site at Berkeley Business Park in Warndon, Worcester.

The developer is believed to have signed up Booker for a pre-let on a 3,251 sq m (35,000 sq ft) distribution warehouse and is in talks with another occupier for some 1,858 sq m (20,000 sq ft) of office space. A further 7,432 sq m (80,000 sq ft) of speculative warehousing is also planned.

Some 1,393 sq m (15,000 sq ft) of offices will be built and available in units of up to 464 sq m (5,000 sq ft) at the 4 ha (10 acre) first phase. The remaining 1.6ha (4 acres) in the second phase will be developed on a design and build basis only.

Quoting rents are in the region of £139 per sq m (£13 per sq ft) for the offices and £51 per sq m (£4.75 per sq ft) for industrial space.

Haslemere submitted the planning application at the end of last year. Grenville Smith & Duncan is the letting agent.
