Telecommunications company Ionica is tipped to take the entire 6,373 sq m (68,600 sq ft) No 1 Brindleyplace at Argent’s mixed-use development in Birmingham.
Argent is believed to be close to agreeing heads of terms with Ionica for a call centre in the building. The developer is quoting £199 per sq m (£18.50 per sq ft) on No 1 Brindleyplace which it developed speculatively.
Ionica, which already has a call centre in Cambridge, settled on Brindleyplace following a nationwide search which covered centres such as Hatfield. Originally, it had been looking for accommodation of up to 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft).
Grimley and Colliers Erdman Lewis are letting agents on No 1 Brindleyplace. Carter Jonas is acting for Ionica.
