George Bartlett QC will be the next president of the Lands Tribunal.
The appointment has not yet been formally announced. But EGi understands that the Lord Chancellor’s Department informed Bartlett on Wednesday at his chambers, 2 Mitre Court Buildings.
Bartlett was called in 1966 and took silk in 1986. He specialises in planning, compulsory purchase and compensation, sits as a recorder and a deputy high court judge, and is an assistant parliamentary boundary commissioner.
