GE Capital is about to sign up for a new manufacturing unit at Hawkley Land & Estates’ Bristol Distribution Park in the first deal at the development for more than a year.
The company is taking the 4,923 sq m (53,000 sq ft) unit five bought by Abbey Life in 1995, although the terms of the deal remain a mystery. The building will be used as a new credit card manufacturing facility.
Hartnell Taylor Cook advised Abbey Life while Healey & Baker represented GE Capital.
