Guy Hollis, managing director of CBRE’s business in Ireland, is to take on an expanded role as the firm’s head of market development.

He will work on the regional growth strategy with EMEA managing director, Martin Samworth.

Hollis will also become managing director of CBRE’s Nordics business while retaining board-level responsibility for CBRE’s Irish and Northern Irish businesses.

Meanwhile, Enda Luddy has been appointed as CBRE’s managing director, Ireland, with Florence Stanley promoted to deputy managing director. Brian Lavery continues as managing director in Belfast.

“Guy has successfully led our business in Ireland since 2007 through one of the most challenging property markets in recent memory. We are pleased that he will now assume a broader leadership role within our EMEA business to encompass our strategic growth agenda and fast-growing Nordics platform,” said Michael Strong, CBRE’s EMEA executive chairman.
