Cambridge Biomedical Campus has secured consent to expand its site by 23 acres.
The approved proposals by Liberty Property Trust and Countryside see more than 75,000 sq ft of research and development space delivered on the site including new clinical space for Cambridge University Hospitals.
The development is already the chosen location of AstraZeneca for its global headquarters and Papworth Hospital’s new state-of-the-art facility. The new land will allow other clinical businesses to move and facilitate collaboration.
Bidwells, Savills and Creative Partnerships are acting for the developers.
