The Restaurant Group is planning a major expansion of its new casual dining chain Joe’s Kitchen.
The company, which owns other brands including Frankie & Benny’s, Garfunkel’s (pictured) and Mexican concept Chiquito, plans to open 100 Joe’s Kitchen outlets over the next five to 10 years across the UK.
It has appointed Savills to advise on the expansion and is seeking sites of between 3,000 sq ft and 4,000 sq ft.
It will focus on sites in prime high street locations, as well as shopping centres and major mixed-use schemes.
Cities including London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham top the shopping list which also includes second-tier regional cities and affluent market towns.
The all-day casual dining concept first opened in Borough, SE1, in 2005, and it has since opened three more restaurants in Derby, Manchester Airport and Bromley.
The Restaurant Group, operates a total of 470 outlets in the UK and this month said it would add a further 50 restaurants by the end of 2015.
