EY has signed to occupy the entirety of Britannia Invest’s One CityGate East in Newcastle.
The 22,950 sq ft office building at the junction of St James Boulevard and Gallowgate has been extensively refurbished since the end of its lease to Newcastle University in 2015.
EY’s rent has not been disclosed, but the quoted rent was understood to be £22 per sq ft.
Britannia Invest is an investment company for Danish pension funds, to which Cording Real Estate Group provides investment management services.
