FINANCE: The F&C Commercial Property Trust has raised almost £50m via a share placing.
The FTSE 250-listed investment trust sold 40.7m new shares priced at 1p each, which will be admitted to the London Stock Exchange on 11 September.
Holdings in the £1.1bn trust, which invests in a mix of offices, retail and warehouses, include the St Christopher’s Place Estate, W1, and Wimbledon Broadway, SW19.
The trust’s most recent purchase was Blocks 1 and 2, Prime Four Business Park, Kingswells, Aberdeen in March for a cost of £65m, followed by blocks 3 and 4 for £30m in April.
