F&C Trust portfolio rises in value

 


F&C Commercial Property Trust has reported a 5.5% increase in the underlying value of its direct property portfolio in the two months since 31 October 2009.


 


The company said the value of its portfolio at 31 December was £732.9m.


 


It added that for the quarter ended 31 December, on a like-for-like basis excluding capital expenditure and the effect of gearing, the value of its properties increased by 10.2%.


 


The company also announced that, on 24 December, it had exchanged contracts to sell 27/28 Commercial Street, Leeds, for £8.8m, reflecting a net initial yield of 5.74%.


 


The sale value compares with the 31 October valuation of £8.075m.
