Food & Drink Group (F&DG) is in talks with lenders to secure the funding needed to keep its business running.
The group, which operates the Jamies wine bar chain in the City of London, is also in talks with several other parties about a possible reverse takeover of another business in its sector or an offer for F&DG itself.
3D Entertainment, owner of the Chicago Rock Cafe nightclubs, is widely seen to be in pole position to clinch a deal with F&DG.
