Video game developer Facepunch Studios has signed a 10-year lease on 12,132 sq ft of workspace at Birmingham’s tallest office tower at 103 Colmore Row.
The company’s new base will be located on the eighth floor of the 26-storey building (pictured), offering access to the business lounge and roof terrace on the 18th floor. The workspace is adaptable for meeting or breakout spaces, with views of Birmingham, and dining and bar facilities.
The 223,631 sq ft office tower is being developed by EPISO 4, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners and Sterling Property Ventures. It is now 85% let or under offer.
Facepunch joins a number of businesses already based at the tower, including Colliers, Arcadis, RSM, Browne Jacobson, Gallagher, Grant Thornton, Knight Frank, Shoosmiths, Evelyn Partners (previously known as Tilney Smith & Williamson), and flexible workspace provider x+why.
Facepunch director Craig Gwilt said: “Birmingham is the right choice for our expansion plans as there’s an abundance of creative talent in the area we can attract, with transport links for our local, national, and international employees and visitors, as well as the local amenities all within easy reach.”
Tristan Capital Partners executive director Paul Pritchard said: “103 Colmore Row’s city centre profile and proximity to both Snow Hill and New Street stations, together with its office space and superfast WiFi is an attractive offer to all sectors, particularly the growing tech cluster in Birmingham.”
The office space is being marketed by Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, and Knight Frank.
