CBRE to manage next phase of £145m Stockport Exchange

Stockport Council and Muse have appointed CBRE to manage the buildings which will form the next phase of the joint venture’s £145m flagship scheme in the town centre.

The agent’s property management team will look after 3 Stockport Exchange, which provides 64,000 sq ft of grade-A workspace and a 398-space multi-storey car park.

The five-storey office building, rated at BREEAM Excellent and EPC A, is due for completion in December. It is expected to deliver suites ranging from 8,331 sq ft to 11,248 sq ft. The 11,000 sq ft top floor has been prelet to accountancy firm Hurst.

The car park, located on Railway Road, opened to tenants earlier this month.

CBRE was instructed to provide property and facilities management services with an occupier focus.

Neil Mort, senior director at CBRE property management, said: “Stockport is undergoing a huge regeneration, boosted by a £1bn investment into the town and is fast becoming one of the North West’s most thriving business hotspots.

“The Stockport Exchange scheme is already proving itself as a hub for multiple businesses and will enjoy further commercial development phases over the next decade, continuing to boost jobs for the region.”
