Knight Frank has appointed James Fairweather to its central London tenant representation team as it continues to expand its occupier service.
Fairweather, who joins from Bilfinger GVA, where he was a director, will advise occupiers in the central London market.
Fairweather has experience with niche financial, hedge fund and private equity tenants that dominate the core markets of Mayfair and St James’s.
His move follows the appointment of Richard Proctor to lead the central London tenant representation team, and the recent launch of a tech team along with the appointment of tech specialist James Nicholson, who will work with Sebastian Abigail.
There are now 14 members of the central London occupier team. An EMEA tenant representation team has also been formed, headed by Emma Goodford.
Richard Proctor, head of Knight Frank’s central London tenant rep team, said: “We are thrilled that James, a leading light in the West End occupier market, is joining our central London tenant representation team.
“When I joined to head this team 12 months ago, we identified a number of things we wished to achieve to drive our central London business forwards. Bolstering our West End team under the leadership of Julian Woolgar was a key aim and to have secured James is fantastic news. We have a uniquely experienced and specialist offering for our occupier clients across central London and James enhances this yet further.”
