The Fine Art Commission has unveiled the Falkirk Wheel, a giant rotating boat lift that forms part of the £84.5m Millennium Link scheme to rejoin the Forth & Clyde canal to the Union canal in Scotland.
The Wheel, which began trials last week, is part of a strategy to re-open canals to increased leisure use.
This is expected to help local economies and property development.
