Fantasy Football league table: top ten seek the buzz of victory

World Cup fever is gripping the property industry, with more than 1,200 teams registering for Estates Gazette’s Fantasy Football competition ahead of kick-off.

Sponsored by Savills, the competition is proving every bit as hard-fought as the tournament itself.

With 75 points, Mark Short’s team Groundhogs was an early table-topper, featuring the likes of England’s Wayne Rooney, Spain’s David Villa and Argentina’s Angel Di Maria. Nick Campbell’s Rings Around Uranus was second on 70 points with James Charnaud’s The Deserters three points further adrift.
