Glyn Lloyd has been appointed as partner at Farebrother and will focus on providing occupier advisory services.
He joins from Lambert Smith Hampton, and will advise occupiers, landlords and developers on how changing working patterns and operational requirements affect the demand for office space.
Lloyd is the fourth new partner to join Farebrother this year. Hugh Tippett joined the lease advisory team in May; Matthew Causer was appointed a leasing and development partner in June; and Matt Martin joined the retail and leisure team in October.
There are now 15 partners at the company.
Farebrother senior partner Alistair Subba Row said: “A pivotal part of the service we provide is a deep understanding of the operational business needs of occupiers and what that means for landlords and developers.
“Glyn has made a specialism of this in the London office market and will be a valuable addition to our central London agency team.”
Lloyd has advised both owner and occupier clients across central London including The Howard de Walden Estate, BlackRock, The Evening Standard, Rightmove, Condé Nast and Huddle.
He said: “Through its core business in Midtown and also via Union Street Partners – its South Bank joint venture consultancy with Tuckerman – Farebrother occupies a unique position in the London office market. I’m excited to be working in these markets and with the firm’s growing range of occupier clients”.
