Farfetch has acquired Browns, the South Molton Street fashion boutique, from the Burstein family for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition is part of Farfetch’s strategy of diversifying from online sales to a traditional shop presence.
The Burstein family will continue to be represented at the store, with Joan Burstein being appointed honorary chairwoman.
