Reitan Invest Plc (RI) faces court action over its ownership in “The House of Farmers,” Bøndernas Hus (BH) in Trondheim.
RI originally bought the shares for NOK 20 million from farm owners with the boards approval. However, when the deal was well under way, several farmers objected to the sale and claimed that the board had violated a decision that only owners with connection to farming would be allowed in.
RI now owns centrally located properties in Trondheim comprising some 17,000 m2.
