International air show organiser Farnborough International has received planning permission for its new events venue.
The Terence O’Rourke-designed plans will provide a 134,500 sq ft conference and exhibition centre capable of seating 2,500 delegates across 14 multi-purpose function rooms.
The scheme will be the third-largest events venue in the South East, and will be an upgrade of the facilities on the Farnborough airfield site.
Work is due to commence following the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow on 16-17 July.
