Sir Terry Farrell, one of Britain’s leading urban architects, has denied allegations that he is working as an adviser to Conservative mayor for London candidate Steve Norris.
Farrell made the denial after an article in last Wednesday’s Guardian said that he had been recruited by Norris to help with his campaign.
Farrell said: “I have had substantive discussions over many years with the mayoral candidates and I am happy to offer my opinions and advice to anyone who wishes to listen.”
Norris was chosen as Conservative candidate for the 2004 election last fortnight.
He will face incumbent mayor Ken Livingstone, deputy mayor Nicky Gavron as Labour candidate, Simon Hughes for the Liberal Democrats and the London Green Party, which has yet to select a candidate
