Fashion company Solace London has taken around 5,000 sq ft of flagship retail space at 7-9 Old Nichol Street in Shoreditch, E2.
The premises has been let on behalf of a private client on a 10-year lease, with a tenant break option after five years. The deal closed with a headline rent of £275,000 pa for the first three years, rising to £300,000 pa for the fourth and fifth years, equating to £60 per sq ft.
Previously home to Sonos and fashion store Browns, the building is located on the junction of Club Row and Old Nichol Street and can be reached from Old Street, Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street stations. Nearby occupiers include Free People, Club Monaco, Sunspel and SpeakersnStuff.
The premises, which comprises two floors of tradeable space, received attention from a number of interested parties before a deal was made.
