Boutique retailer Anthropologie is making its City debut with a shop at TIAA Henderson Real Estate’s Steward Building, E1.
It will take 5,500 sq ft at the Allford Hall Monaghan Morris-designed Spitalfields building, where it will be joined by high street chain COS, which is taking 4,348 sq ft.
The pair will pay prime City zone-A rents of £335 per sq ft. Portfolio manager Ilna Patel said: “The pricing achieved is testament both to the strength of the expanding retail demand and to the building itself.” BC Retail advised the landlord; McDevitt represented Anthropologie; COS was not advised.
