Scottish fashion retailer USC, which is backed by property entrepreneur Sir Tom Hunter, went into administration yesterday afternoon.
The 58-store fashion chain entered a pre-pack administration, whereby existing backers and management immediately take over a large portion of the existing business.
West Coast Capital, the investment vehicle owned by Hunter, has taken over more than 40 of USC’s stores.
