Far East Consortium International and the Co-op have submitted plans for Angel Meadow, a £235m residential development in Manchester.
The scheme comprises 756 homes across four buildings across from Angel Meadow Park. A 40-storey residential tower will provide two-bedroom flats with “winter gardens”, designed with families in mind. Two residential towers, of 22- and 17-storeys, are proposed for Aspin Lane.
Five three-bedroom townhouses are planned for the ground floor of the building on Old Mount Street, with 131 apartments above. A new route through the building, which is part nine and part 12 storeys, will allow residents from neighbouring buildings access to the park.
Hong Kong-based property developer FEC was selected by the Co-op and Manchester Place as development partner for the scheme in summer 2016. It is the firm’s first project in Manchester.
Last month FEC was named investor partner with Manchester City Council for the Northern Gateway – a 10,000-home regeneration project in the city.
5plus is the architect for Angel Meadow.
