The Union Hotel in Penzance, Cornwall, is for sale
The Hypatia Trust, a feminist group, is favourite to buy the historic property which was named to mark the passing of the Act of Union with Ireland in 1800.
The buyer would rename it Hypatia House and turn the Nelson Bar into a cafeteria and the Trafalgar Room into a conference venue.
