Britons have scaled back their expectations of a rise in interest rates, with just 37% expecting an increase in the next 12 months.
The proportion expecting a rise is the lowest since November 2013, according to the survey by the Bank of England. In August it was 49%.
Meanwhile, economists polled by Reuters last week have forecast that interest rates will rise from their record low of 0.5% between July and September next year.
