East Midlands-based niche practice FHP has appointed Tim Richardson to head its Derby operation.
Richardson has joined the firm as an associate director from Innes England, where he was based for the past eight years. He is currently working from the Nottingham office of FHP and will transfer over to Derby to run the Pride Park office in December.
As part of his exit strategy, Richardson was unable to be based in Derby for the first six months of his new role.
His move to FHP is the latest step in a 20-year career in commercial property that has seen him work for both national and local agencies, including a seven-year stint with Lambert Smith Hampton based in its Northampton office.
Richardson had been based in Derby for the past 11 years and had been involved in deals including the sale of the 60,000 sq ft Midland House to the Department for Education. He also advised on the acquisition of a 70,000 sq ft headquarters for Daher Aerospace at Sinfin .
