FHP Property Consultants has topped the EG Nottingham offices league table, knocking JLL off the number-one spot.
The East Midlands specialist signed for nearly 40% of all space taken, and a third of all deals in the 12 months to the end of August this year, according to Estates Gazette Regional Office Research.
Last year’s winner JLL slipped down the charts to eighth place this year.
FHP was closely followed by fellow Midlands specialist Innes England in second place.
Innes England made the largest leap up the leaderboard this year, landing a quarter more disposals this year. A churn of smaller deals, as the Nottingham market overall saw space transacted slip by a fifth, helped support Innes England’s second place.
The largest deal this year was the 20,000 sq ft letting at Crown Buildings, a fifth smaller than the largest signing in 2012.
“We’ve definitely seen a slowdown in bigger enquiries, and Nottingham has always typified one big office deal per year,” said Innes England director Tim Garratt.
