Fiera Capital’s infrastructure business has launched a social platform to provide accommodation for vulnerable people through regulated housing providers.
Fiera Infrastructure has teamed up with real estate firm HSPG to launch the new business, Domus.
The new platform will initially own 50 properties, providing accommodation to approximately 1,000 people. Domus is 100% owned by Fiera Infrastructure, it will expand through the partnership with social housing manager HSPG.
Alina Osorio, president of Fiera Infrastructure, said: “Domus is a new social infrastructure platform focused on providing critical shelter and support to the most vulnerable members of the community.
“The investment addresses the social housing supply imbalance in the UK by providing quality accommodation in the areas most at need. We plan to grow our footprint through additional acquisitions, which have been identified and secured in areas experiencing housing supply shortages.”
