Final call for property jockeys

The opportunity to bolt out of the gate astride a horse at Ascot race track doesn’t come up very often. But it is there for the taking, during Property Race Day on 11 July, as your colleagues, family and friends roar you on, waving betting slips furiously in the air.

This is the final call for amateur jockeys to sign up to race a straight mile in one of the biggest industry events. To take part you will need to find a horse and raise £5,000 for the event’s official charities. You should probably lay off the cakes, too.

Several people have already committed, and just a few more will complete the field. Be brave.
Property Race Day attracts some 1,000 people for a boozy lunch, a flutter or two, networking and general hijinks. Last year’s event raised more than £200,000.

There is one race sponsorship opportunity remaining with a potential partner joining the likes of
Helical Bar, Darbys, Close Brothers, Cushman & Wakefield, Long Harbour, Foundation Developments and Signature Capital Limited, who are all backing races.
