Administrators at Zolfo Cooper have sold the Best Western West Grange Hotel in Midgham, Newbury, to Hawk Developments.
The 62-bedroom hotel is thought to have been sold for around £3m. The four-star hotel comprises a restaurant and two conference rooms with a total capacity of 110, and includes a staff house.
The sale completes the disposal of the Cube Hotels Group. Last month, Best Western Salford Hall at Evesham, Worcestershire, was sold to Skylane.
Philip Gibson, partner at Edward Symmons, which advised Zolfo Cooper, said: “We are pleased to have concluded this sale, and it demonstrates the resilience of the hotel market. The property had undergone significant investment, and attracted interest from a number of established hoteliers.”
