Kier Group is looking for a new finance director only three months after the departure of its chief executive.
In a brief statement, Kier, the troubled construction company and public services operator whose shares are hitting 18-year lows, said that Bev Dew, 48, would be leaving after the end of the company’s financial year in June and by the end of September, when its results are due.
His departure comes after that of his old boss Haydn Mursell, 48, the man who recruited him from Balfour Beatty, and the arrival of Andrew Davies, 55, the new chief executive who has already committed the group’s management to a strategic review of its businesses.
