New faces at Henderson Park

Nick Weber, the former head of European real estate at Mount Kellett, has hired Michael Jenkinson and Adel Oucherif as principals at his newly formed investment business Henderson Park. Jenkinson joined from Goldman Sachs, where he was executive director in the bank’s European special situations group, and Oucherif moved from hedge fund CQS, where he was a portfolio manager.

Circle delivers NAV growth

Circle Property delivered 17% NAV growth to £1.79 per share in its half-year results. The regional property company said the EU referendum had “little or no impact” on regional cities as the value of its portfolio rose 16.3% to £90.4m. Earnings per share rose from 3.8p to 29p, and net rental income grew from £1.1m to £2m.

LGIM raises £1bn for PRS fund

Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets has raised more than £1bn for its open-ended build-to-rent fund. It has 1,000 homes under construction or in planning in Bristol, Salford and London. LGIM Real Assets said the goal was to open up the rental market to long-term pension fund and institutional investors.

Bernstein heads Cogress

Former chairman of the Football Association David Bernstein has been appointed chairman of private equity firm Cogress. He replaced Lord Mendelsohn, partner at Oakvale Capital, who stepped down because of his “rigorous schedule”.
