IPF appoints new chiefs
The IPF has appointed Ciaran Carvalho and Jonathan Thompson as its new chairman and vice-chairman respectively. Carvalho, a senior partner at law firm Nabarro, will replace Chris Ireland for the next 12 months. Thompson is chairman of Argent.
Pay cut for BL’s Grigg…
British Land chief executive Chris Grigg’s remuneration fell from a record £6.6m in 2015 to £3.7m for 2016. His investment plan reward fell from £4.3m to £1.7m and his bonus fell to £840,000 from £1.2m.

Land Securities’ Rob Noel’s total pay was cut by 57% to £2m in 2016. His salary and cash bonus rose, but lower shareholder returns saw his long-term investment plan rewards cut to £316,000 from £2.9m in 2015.
Lower numbers for Berkeley
Berkeley Group posted a fall in revenue and gross profits as sales dipped by 4% amid Brexit fears. It said sales within the markets in which it operates fell 20% in the five months to the end of May.
