Savills has completed its purchase of SEB Asset Management from Swedish bank SEB.

It has bought the €10bn (£7.3bn) real estate fund management business for £15.6m and has taken on 148 staff in Frankfurt and Singapore.

The enlarged company’s assets under management total €17.2bn.


Redefine appoints Jones

Redefine International has appointed Sarah Jones as senior asset manager.

Jones joins from Exxon Mobil’s global real estate team where she worked as an asset manager overseeing a portfolio of offices and residential properties across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Jones will manage Redefine’s UK commercial property portfolio.

M&G Real Estate has appointed Andrew Cook to its residential team as a fund analyst.

Cook joins from CBRE London’s residential valuation team, where he conducted valuations of private rented sector schemes, ground rent portfolios and residential-led development sites.


Arden-Davis joins Cornerstone

Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers Europe has appointed Rachel Arden-Davis as director of finance and operations for pan-European funds.

Arden-Davis will work on the structuring, financing and operating of European real estate funds, with responsibility for the financial management of its Nordic Retail Fund.
