£150m of refi deals for L&G
Legal & General Property has refinanced £150m of facilities for its leisure fund through Royal Bank of Scotland and the insurer’s own lending arm. The facilities were provided as a £90m term loan from L&G and a £60m revolving credit facility from RBS.
Partners eye London resi
Residential financier Urban Exposure has sealed a deal with US private equity firm EJF Capital that will see the pair plough £2bn into the London and South East markets. They will lend on a range of residential-led new-build and refurbishment projects including student housing and PRS, offering products from senior to bridge finance.
Pricoa goes into self-storage
Pricoa Mortgage Capital has closed a £155m partial refinancing of Access Self Storage, which is owned by Enddora Holdings and Birchal.The fixed-rate loan, with a term of more than 10 years, is secured by a portfolio of properties in greater London, the Midlands and the South.
Dragonfly promotes pair
Short-term lender Dragonfly has made two promotions following the departure of founder Jonathan Samuels. Matt Smith is promoted to director of risk and recoveries and D’mitri Zaprzala has been promoted to head of sales. Smith was previously the head of credit and servicing and was the company’s first employee. Zaprzala joined the company in 2013 as a business development manager.
