Alex Michelin, co-founder of luxury residential developer Finchatton, and Matthew Robertson, the company’s former chief financial officer, have launched Valouran, a residential-led property development company.
Michelin (pictured above, left) and Robertson (right) have worked together for more than a decade at Finchatton, where Michelin will remain a partner and be involved in the day-to-day operations.
The two have also worked together in the property investment company CapitalRise, founded by Michelin. Robertson has held the role of director of lending at CapitalRise since its launch in 2016.
The duo’s new venture, Valouran, will provide sustainable residential developments in central London, with a pipeline in excess of £400m.
The company of 12 is already working on several prime London schemes, from a £200m project in Hampstead to a collection of apartments in St John’s Wood and a residential development in Knightsbridge on a premier garden square.
