Andreas Westling, analyst of Evlin, said there is not enough expertise in Finland in the field of analysing real estate investment companies.
The field is so young here, said Westling, with property companies have been overshadowed by the boom of technology. Foreigners are not interested in Finnish real estate companies as they are so small and as there are so few of them. In practice this leaves property shares having very low liquidity.
The situation is different in Sweden where there are more real estate companies and more transparency.
