A fire-damaged farmhouse on land previously owned by a huntmaster was the top lot at Mark Jenkinson & Son’s sale on 2 June at Sheffield United Football Club.
Highlightley Farm in Dronfield, Derbyshire, sold for £1.4m – the auction house’s highest individual sale result in more than 30 years.
The property, which was guided at £400,000, also includes an outbuilding and 8.4 acres of land.
