Fired Earth has launched the first pilot for a new format country warehouse concept near Orpington, Kent.
The tile company will launch a second next month in Bedfordshire with another three next year.
The first pilot is a 371 sq m (4,000 sq ft) farm building selling lighting, upholstery and crockery. Future outlets will typically be converted farm buildings in the outer suburbs or countryside.
