Triplex Lloyd has secured its first tenant for the planned 23,225 sq m (250,000 sq ft) James Bridge development in Park Lane, Walsall. First Leisure has taken a 2,787 sq m (30,000 sq ft) prelet on a 25-year lease at an undisclosed rent for a Riva bingo club.
The developer intends to reserve 9,244 sq m (99,500 sq ft) of the 23,225 sq m (250,000 sq ft) development for leisure with the remainder earmarked for light industrial use. The Black Country Development Corporation is contributing City Grants to the redevelopment of the former steelworks.
