First London plans leisure scheme in Wolverhampton

First London is drawing up plans for a leisure scheme in part of the old Co-op department store in Wolverhampton, which it has bought from St Modwen for £700,000.

Part of the 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft) property is let to J D Wetherspoon and Bass, while the remaining 2,787 sq m (30,000 sq ft) is vacant. First London is in talks with the council to redevelop the empty floors for leisure.

Moss & Partners advised First London, and St Modwen, which sold the investment, acted for itself.
