The joint venture between investment firm Mark and developer CC Land has opened the former Whiteleys shopping centre in Bayswater, W2, after its £1bn redevelopment.
The Grade II listed building, which has been closed since 2018, has been turned into a 139 flats and townhouses, 20 shops and restaurants, a cinema, gym and a Six Senses hotel and spa with 110 rooms.
The scheme was designed by Foster + Partners, and will be managed by Finchatton.
Originally founded as William Whiteley, the building housed what was London’s first luxury department store in 1911.
