In what is the first deal at Brixton Estate’s 120 Edmund Street in Birmingham, Accident Assistance, trading as First Call, has taken 1,695 sq m (18,254 sq ft) on a five year term.
AA – a subsidiary of GE Capital – is paying £335,000 pa. This equates to £188 per sq m (£17.50 per sq ft) on the 7th floor, £129 per sq m (£12 per sq ft) on the 8th, and £1,250 for each of the 20 car spaces.
The company is relocating from Sutton Coldfield and is also negotiating terms on a further 1,639 sq m (17,650 sq ft) in the building.
DTZ Debenham Thorpe and Hillier Parker are letting agents on 120 Edmund Street. AA is unrepresented.
