First tenant at Two St Peter’s Square

No-2-St-Peters-Square-THUMB.jpegEY has leased three floors at Two St Peter’s Square in Manchester.

The professional services company is the first to take space at the 11-storey city centre building, which is being developed by Mosley Street Ventures.

EY is taking a 15-year lease on 41,628  sq ft across the eighth, ninth and tenth floors.

Laing O’Rourke has commenced the redevelopment of the existing site and EY is expected to move all of its Manchester operations from 100 Barbirolli Square, where the firm employs 450 people, to the finished Two St Peter’s Square building from mid-2017.

The new development will comprise 161,113 sq ft in total, including 5,142 sq ft of ground-floor leisure space.

Fred Done of Mosley Street Ventures said: “We are delighted to have secured this letting, which justifies our decision to commence the development. To have a tenant with the standing of EY as our first prelet is exciting for all of the team at MSV and we are confident other tenants will soon follow.”

Cushman & Wakefield and SGH Martineau advised EY; DTZ and Myersons advised Mosley Street Ventures.
